Aurora is overwhelmed by the room. She is quiet.

"I think we can try to write the symbol of the birds feathers...but...the creature did want to get here...so...maybe we should have brought it with us?"

You return to find the bird still sleeping but it alerts and flutters at the sound of your approach. It's movements are stilted and hesitant at first as it still favors the previously wounded wing only to quickly adapt to full mobility. The birds is clearly exhausted still, despite your healing, and it does not move far but does move away as you near it. With a bit of coaxing you manage to get close enough but any attempt to grab it results in the bird fleeing, but again not far. It is clearly not afraid of you but equally clear is its dislike of being grabbed.

Here we go again Orrid says looking at the panicking bird Do you think we can get a good enough look at its wing to write down the rune?

"Mabye...maybe we should talk with the bird?", asks Ursa a little unsure.

Looking back up the stairs thoughtfully, she turns to the creature again.

"We do not wish to harm you. Though we do wish to speak to the wizard of thise tower. Maybe we can help you get up to the place you want to reach? You seem to be exhausted...", asks Ursa a little unsure.

The bird pauses as you speak and blinks once before nodding. It edges around you to get ahead of you on the stairs then flits up the stairs but stays in sight. Looking back at you is seems to be waiting. You follow the bird and soon reach the lounge. The bird flies over to a perch set next to the door and using it's beak, pecks it three times, producing three clear and loud clacks. It then settles back on the perch and stares at you a moment before closing it's eyes.
