I want both rays to be occupied. I didn't want to give your PC an order, sorry if made such impression. I guess you have at least two options - get out or shoot from inside. But maybe you could come up with something unexpected?

Mole checks a window in the room and making confident he would be able to get out any moment nods to Varos and Biscuit to demonstrate his readiness.

The manta's both speak some strange language to each other. If you haven't picked your languages yet, you could add Infernal to your list. The Rays are circling the ship, you may hide among some debris and seaweeds.

If it makes sense, then let's do it. You can backstab from hiding, no problem. Just make a Move Silently check. Roll with a 30% bonus to your target number (25 becomes 55) due to watery environment and your ability to hide.
