You leave your chambers and walk up to the main door, where you wake up a young man sleeping by its side to unbar it for you. It is cold, and windy, and dark outside; hardly the weather for a late-night stroll. There are guards on the battlements, but walking up the stairs in the rain isn't very appealing. Instead, you make it to the keep's gate, where a couple of perplexed guards stand at attention.
They don't appear to be as terrified as the servants of the keep (likely due to their training), and are actually quite relieved to see the adventurers. If anyone could help their Lord - it must be you. The information they give you, in hushed voices, help you piece together the puzzle; Lord Bowell has been acting more and more erratically, especially at night, ever since he came back from his hunting trip - where he was bitten by a wolf...
