Her voice is rough and falters easily as she tries. Probably why you have only heard her lay her shawm and never sing. She doesn't have the gift her mother to sing as a bird in the wind. She will translate the words as best she can into high elven give them more of a sing song sound.

Petra tries to join in with Seelah and the others amid the circle of standing stones in the sacred Dolmen, mimicking Ulfr in particular and stumbling badly, a beat behind him.

But at least she can count herself part of an incredibly brave and talented and true-hearted fellowship. One willing to fight overwhelming odds to free Aryth from conquerors whose evil and hatred knows no bounds when it comes to suppressing all that is vibrant and good and enriching to life, including freedom and knowledge and community and nature.

Whenever the dwarrow healer lifts her voice or her tools or whatever she's got, she doesn't do so alone--none of them do as long as they've got each other--and in the end, Aryth willing, that might be enough to see them through.
