0. Beginnings

@nepets: Sorry for the confusion - the park scene was just a mechanics example to show how we'd use the resolution mechanics.

We're 99.9% ready to launch - all that's missing is filling in the blanks on the characters' relationship and history (Question 6). It's not really necessary, and we can start without it, but it will give us a little more background to build on.

I'm planning on kicking off by Monday at the latest if you are all ready to go. Give me a thumbs up if you are, then grab those black shades and dark suits and get ready for bullet time. :)

Hmm. I suppose we can proceed solo if you like and then work him back into the story if he comes back.

Sorry, but I don't want to proceed solo. Just isn't that fun without a fellow player to work with.

Maybe find a replacement if Nepets is truly gone?

Hi Totes, I think we'll just call this a wash. We got off to a halting start (my fault), and its hard to regain momentum from that. I thought it could be a fun idea, we were so close to the high adrenalin part (Akhmetov wasnt going to make it very far), but it was not to be.

I hope to game with you again - I really liked your character and I thought you did a great job on the posts!

I was intrigued by this game, even though modern settings aren't my usual RP playgrounds. But Hermes sounded cool!

I wouldn't say the halting start was the primary cause. Nepets's last activity was 13 days ago. They clearly weren't committed to this game long-term. An unfortunate, and all too common, problem with PbP. I've had to deal with low activity/ghosting in my own games.
