Guesclinbert looks over the weapons, then announces "take whichever you prefer, I'll take whatever's left to sell." Hopefully we can trade somewhere soon for an improved hallowed axe.

OOC:
I assume that you perform Daedales last wish and distributes his spores.
Then you summon the independence with the flair.
Or do you need more time?

Do you need more time with this scene

Yes
No

Vethalia snickers, "In that case I think we should leave you with the great sword, it's like twice your size."

"I can't use any of them really." She adds with a sigh reorganizing her cards, "They're really not my thing, now a wand or a staff."

"I'll have you know I'm a very tall Goblin for my age. Certainly taller than you, despite your seemingly decades on me, judging from those wrinkles on your ears."

Guesclinbert makes his youthful ears ripple with scorn. "Anyway, like I said, whatever's left, we can sell and hopefully buy better gear with the proceeds. Could do with a better shield too."
OOC:
I'll try to do a post later delivering Dale's body to the skies, don;t have time right now.

"My ears are not wrinkled." Vethalia retorts picking up the longsword, "and they're not sprouting great tufts of hair like yours are."

She points to the sky, "Ship's coming."

Just completing my task in a post on this thread, will post to the new one too.
"Pfft. Old and wrinkled at that." says Guesclinbert to his goblin companion. "And anyway, hairy tufts are the sign of great wisdom and most attractive."

At the sight of the ship approaching, Guesclinbert takes hold of Daedale's limp, strangely light, body, and shoots straight up into the air, looking around as he does, spiralling upwards to look for the highest point that looks out over the endless forests and jungles. Soaring over to one such place, he tastes the air, feels the rhythms of the wind through his feathers, breathes deeply, and nods to himself in satisfaction. Looking down over the land, seeing verdant, untouched trees, lush vegetation, a pure land.

Guesclinbert mutters a few words in farewell to his brother-in-arms, then lets the body fall from his hands. Watching it descend, picking up speed, he follows in a dive, reaching for his hallowed axe as he does. He meets the body quickly, his axe blade moving quickly, shimmering, splitting open the fungal mass and letting the spores drift down towards the forest where they will meet the ground and find fallen logs, mosses, and the remains of small woodland animals, where they will cultivate and colonise, bringing new life from dead. Hovering for a few seconds to watch the spores drift here and there, and to remember the spots where they land, Guesclinbert nods once, then flies back to the group as the ship approaches.

beatiful
in a D&D 5e game, I would have awarded you an inspiration. That is not a thing in Daggerhart
