My apologies for the delay in posting. Had some unexpected family matters that dropped in my lap this weekend, and haven't had a chance to get my head in order. Will have a new post up soon, hopefully today.

@Synaptic I hope we can keep the momentum up like it is currently! This game almost died from lack of forward progress, I think... And it could be a lot of fun! So it would be sad if it did.

Thank you for bringing this up, as I was planning on making a post here now that we're wrapping up this first part.

I wanted to check in with everyone how they're feeling about the game. This first part has taken a lot longer to get through than expected (likely half from my own slow posting, half from my inexperience with pbp). I hope to be able to keep up a brisker pace going forward. This next part will take the characters outside of their village. So if anyone feels like they've lost interest or otherwise wish to bow out of the game, this would probably be a chance to do so with minimal disruption. We can simply say that they remain behind to defend the village in that case.

Of course, I hope as many as possible still wish to continue! If so, we'll finish up part 1 shortly and then move on to the next thread. Just let how you all are feeling about it.

I am good to keep playing. How many chapters do you estimate we will play through?

Glad to hear it! It depends a bit on your actions of course, but right now I'm envisioning it as 3 parts, with the last part probably being the shortest of the three.

I'm quite interested in where things are going, so I'm good to continue.
