The move location clock will advance on each roll, or 20 min has passed. The leave the ruin clock will advance when it move location and with some hidden conditions.
So in short: You can plan and make traps, but the ruin map I just published will only be available for 3 more rolls, unless you chose to attack of corse ;)

The clocks are there to give you a sense of urgency or to illustrate that things happens even if you do nothing

You know:

• There are goats outside the ruin
• There is something inside the big tower, that made a noice in responce to the beasts roar
• The beast is in the old barracks, with a head full of hardware
• It mid day

So did we just pull Torrek away from the tower to meet up?

Yes, the tower and the flyby was in aid of finding the beast. It is found, so I gathered the group for ease of communication.
If you want to investigate the tower, you are welcome, but it will be a job for flyers as the ground floor entrance is blocked

What skill would we use to make a trap? And can anybody think of anything other than a tiger pit? Because that's the only place my brain is going right now.

Okay so the "Move Location" is kind of, this is when the beast will get bored and change where it's at, and the "Leave" is when it will just naturally dip off into the woods.

Let me just be clear: I don't like editing another players posts. I have personally left games in anger where the GM have edited my posts for spelling errors or formatting that wasn't to their liking.

But I have made part of Bullseyepsa post into a private post between the flyers as the walkers and the flyers don't have a line of communication, and the flyers' discovery might affect the walkers' decisions.

No problem here. GP doesn't really have group visibility tools like some other PbP platforms use, but even those are really clunky if you're frequently splitting and rejoining groups.

I think I got the message listed as private in the IC thread - can bulls and rune confirm they saw mine, and no-one else did?

Well, we all start with hope. But, we don't seem to be able to roll hope to add to our hope. We just keep adding fear to the GM's column.

You all started with 2 hope
I started with 5 fear (one pr player)
I'm also spending fear to spotlight the adversaries.

What do you think so far? I love that I just have to wait until someone rolls with fear until I can spotlight the adversaries, and if a player is inactive for a while, the game self-balances as they are not taking actions = making rolls = adding fear to the pool = less fear to spend on the active players

I like the initiative system. I think it works well for PbP where people have different posting rates, though it can lead to someone trying to solo a fight.

I'm fine with what we've got, I know daggerheart is different in how it handles initiative. I'd like to finish a couple fights before I weigh in.
