Abenanka is the first daughter of the illustrious Kim’unko family, who lived as the guardians of the land long before Japan formally existed. She embodies her ancestors' spirit; precise, measured and fearless. She does not shy away from her duties, nor from her training. She engages in both scholarly and martial pursuits, though with a focus on her magical training, and strives to excel in everything she does. Only, excel she doesn’t. While it’s certainly true that she takes well to her theoretical training, she struggles with the practical applications of such concepts. She struggles under pressure, and has trouble adjusting her pace to fit that of other people. Her earnest demeanour and straightforward goals earn her a lot of forgiveness though. When she reaches her boiling point, Abenanka becomes withdrawn. She’ll try and find patches of greenery. She’s not good with animals, beyond birds, but she prefers the peace and quiet away from cities and people. [spoiler="Kim'Unko Lineage"]The Kim’Unko family are wardmasters and protectors of the spiritualism of the Ainu people. They were the first line of defence against the Shamon threat, harnessing barriers and carving charms from Tamashishi to protect the souls of their people. As Japan became a nation their practices died out, to eventually become a hidden hand in the protection of the nation. [/spoiler] [spoiler="Yuki-onna"]A custom model that combines the effects of the Snowdrop and the Lotus. Its claws make useful tools for digging, while its more slender design compared to a standard Lotus makes it concealable. Add to that the removal of the ranged capabilities, it makes the perfect ambush predator that can target weak spots and incapacitate. Abenanka has extensively adorned the Yuki-onna with charms, totems and painting that gives the impression of tattoos on every available surface.
