Yacht Shock!

The saved potential sacrifices are as well as can be expected. Minor bruises and scrapes, some rope burns and chafed skin. They seem traumatized though, mostly staring into space or muttering to themselves or both.

"An actor starting his own movie studio? Preposterous."

"This place is too crazy. I need a career change."

Arriving at the shore, police and ambulance are waiting just above the waterline. "We got a report of a boat on fire but it looks like that has been taken care of," one of the ambulance driver says. "Any injured?" he asks, looking at the survivors and the man beached in an intertube.

The crew is definitely deserving of a night of unwinding after the day they had. Of course most people don't learn the true story of what happened on Zahn's yacht. There are rumors that swirl around for years, some of them are close to the truth, others wholly fabricated. Zahn is rich and therefore only faces a few minor charges of reckless endangerment which sees him get probation and a large fine. The bodies of his fellow cultists are never found and no one was able to identify who they were, nor do any family members come forward to declare them as missing persons. It is only a matter of time, perhaps, for Zahn to try again...
