To be clear, technically the chant never finished, once the oil stains were removed with prestidigitation, the trap went off.

Thank you for clarifying that. It means I have more spell energy than I thought, and we have a chant to complete before we move on.

Yea, I'd say about 6 hours.

That chapter didn't exactly go as planned, I'm starting to understand what my GM friends meant by all their remarks about planning vs pulling stuff from your 'rear'.

Anywho, that'll mark the start of the last chapter planned for this Act. It'll probably take a couple days for me to put together, so I'll leave up this chapter if you want to take actions, talk to Kaelith, anything else before we get the ball rolling with the new chapter.

Edit: Also, thanks for the patience with the reduced posting on my part. I think we can formalize dropping any obligations to post on the weekends/daily. If I can get around to it at all on the weekends, it'll be a miracle. I will continue to try and at least post daily though.

If a 25 or better Survival check is the target number for avoiding patrols, that 18 will need some Aid Another rolls for Survival?

Unless I'm just too paranoid and we don't need them every time we travel...but we are toting stolen goods and did mess with those desecrated cairns, just saying.

Sure. No problem taking a 10 to Aid, if nothing else is actionable.

I don't know if it's even in this version of the game, but anyone got a guidance... or anything to help with skill rolls?

In Pathfinder 1E there's a couple spells in the Divination list ( I.E. True Skill, Embrace Destiny, etc) which can tweak rolls. Midnight has a truncated spell-list, though I'm sure we could make an argument to get certain spells added to the list. But I don't think any of the magic types have dipped into Divination. It's on the list of things I'd like... but not near the front. XD

If I'd realized I was the only one with any voice training, I might have at least kept the skill maxed because his charisma isn't doing me any favors lol
