The stormy prong arcs lightning—through the plexiglass wall—and into the next room.
From the flash, you see it—just for a split second! The niche at the top of the room glows red in response to the surge—it draws electricity into it…
…then shoots it back out! Dozens of red lightning bolts rain down upon the writhing Kaligators! Two of them burst! Four respawn in their place! More lightning roasts another five! Ten more respawn! Lightning bolts keep rapid-firing out of that 6’x6’x6’ niche! Kaligators are instantly killed by the bolts, and every death spawns a pair of clones!
…within a minute, scores of Kaligators are pressed against the plexiglass! Flashes of red fill the few spaces between the trapped monsters!
—the hydrolock door starts to look a little concave—and you all get the hell out of the way!
The door bursts open! There’s a blinding flash! A deafening boom! You feel a splash of wetness as everything fades to red!
