Is there a way to search threads?

I can't find one. I want to ask a question about why my avatar image keeps resetting to the original image I posted. I am unable to change it when I upload another. It shows the new one in my settings page, but the old one everywhere else.

I thought I might be able to search older threads, but I do not see how.

For the avatar, try clearing the cache. (Ctrl + F5 for most browsers.)
For the search, there is one for the whole forum - the search field is on the Forums page, top right, - but not for individual threads (as in you can't search through a single thread).

Just a minor clarification in case someone finds themselves in a circumstance where it matters — CTRL + F5 doesn’t clear the cache, it bypasses it and forces a refresh of the page from the web server. You’ve gotta dig into browser menus to actually clear the local cache.

I think in some cases it actually does, but yeah, you're right. Sorry, my bad. :(
