OOC:
Oops yes I screwed that up. I can roll 2.more.now if it's ok.

Rolls

Missed damage dice - (2d6)

(61) = 7

R3N-L3 remained serenely buried in the mud of the river, not needing to breathe or move.
OOC:
R3N-L3's buried in the bottom of the river, not taking the initiative and waiting for the leaders to come so he can stab them in the ass like any proper, honorable warrior would. Perfectly fine if he's discovered, he's betting on the fact that it'll be pretty hard to hit him through all that water, with his innately thick hull.

At Lauretta's call, arrows and crossbow bolts fly! Wolfram takes down an enemy scout with a well-placed hit, and your allies take down three more, leaving the fifth one wounded! Meanwhile, Tzal's jellyfish slams into one of the brutish leaders, leaving him ensnared in its poisonous tentacles!
OOC:
End of first round. Anybody who wishes to act in the second round before the enemies may take the initiative now!
May 16, 2025 12:47 pm
Tzal fires another jellyfish towards the other brute, hoping to ensnare it as well.
OOC:
Well, I guess we can keep the brutes away for sometime.

"Yes, give them Hell!"

Seeing the first volley tear through the scouts and Tzal's magics stun the shock troops, it seemed things were going about as well as Lauretta hoped. After her battle-cry, she nocked an arrow herself and let it fly at the biggest target she could pick out within range.

Rolls

Bow - Attack - (1d20+4+2d6h1)

(9) + (35) + 4 = 18

Wolfram, thrilled at their battle prowess so far, does it again, nocking an arrow and firing at the most accessible target.

OOC:
You're missing a d6 of damage. ;) Also a boon, but I don't think it matters when you rolled that high.

OOC:
I didn't think battle blessing was ongoing by default. But yeah not a terrible roll without.

OOC:
R3N-L3's still being a swamp monster, he'll pop up once the bandits get within stabbing distance.

Tzal launches a second jellyfish at the other raider commander, ensnaring her in its poisonous tentacles as well! With both leaders held fast, Lauretta opens fire on one of the berserkers, scoring a good hit. Wolfram shoots the same berserker, taking him out! Your allied soldiers unleash another volley, bringing down the last scout, the second berserker, and three more of the rank-and-file warriors!

"Charge! Close the gap, quickly!" one of the held commanders shout as they struggle to free themselves from the jellyfish. The dozen raiders who still survive rush forward to try to get to you, splashing into the shallow part of the river and getting within 5 yards of the front ranks of your forces. And passing right over R3N-L3's hiding spot...
OOC:
@Lcythas may act!

OOC:
Does R3N-L3 get any extra boons for stabbing them from below? X3
May 19, 2025 8:02 am
OOC:
Sure, I'll make them vulnerable to you, so you get 1 boon on attacks against them!
May 19, 2025 8:29 am
Like a metal monster rising from the depths, R3N-L3 abruptly surged upwards from the river bank, duckweed and mud still clinging to his plate as he stabbed upwards at the first raider to emerge. "Please remain here and die." He said in his usual flat monotone, drawing his blade back into a guard position as he hefted his mud-stained shield. The blade in question seemed to be glowing with a faint grey light, condensed into the precise shape of the blade itself.
OOC:
If he hit normally, 4 damage. If he crit, then 7 damage. People who attack R3N-L3 also get one bane due to his sword being magically powered-up.

R3N-L3 drives his sword into the nearest raider, injuring him! The wildlings cry out in anger and surprise!

Sir Reginald tightens his grip on his sword as he waits beside Lauretta for her orders.

The first raider Tzal hit breaks free of the jellyfish grabbing him!
OOC:
If Lauretta gives the go-ahead, Reginald will rush into the water to help R3N-L3. Otherwise he'll stay put and defend this round. Either way, it's the end of the round. Anybody who wishes to act first in the next round may take the initiative and do so now!

Rolls

Luck Ends Held and Poisoned - (d20, d20)

d20 : (18) = 18

d20 : (5) = 5

Health Loss - (d6, d6)

d6 : (2) = 2

d6 : (6) = 6

Tzal noticed as one of the leader broke free from the jellyfish. He pursed his lips, as that was not a good outcome. They needed to be kept at bay before the frontline was cleared. He pointed his staff and sent another jellyfish hurling towards him.
OOC:
Does 12 hit the agility?

OOC:
R3N-L3 still has a reaction in reserve for defensive stuff, so he's perfectly fine tanking the vanguard for the time being.
May 19, 2025 4:29 pm
"Their numbers are damn near halved! Lead the charge!"

Lauretta slaps the armored shoulder of the vengeful knight, giving him the signal to take the soldiers and move in with the red-stained clockwork. The sight of the machine covered in earth and dripping in blood-like waters was haunting. She was intent on making sure it was the last sight these murderous heathens would ever see. Before Sir Reginald could charge, another volley of arrows would rain down on the wild marauders.
OOC:
Edit: I messed up the macro. Just ignore everything that wasn't the 2 on the d20 and I'll roll the boons separately. Edit 2: Don't think an 8 will hit, haha. That's Lauretta's turn!

The clockwork rising so suddenly from the depths of the river was a sight to behold and somewhat of a surprise, even though expected. Wolfram smiled to himself as the drama around it unfolded, and then nocked another arrow, shooting at any foe clear of their friendlies.

Rolls

Agility/Damage - (1d20+3, 2d6)

1d20+3 : (14) + 3 = 17

2d6 : (24) = 6

Last Round
At Lauretta's urging, Sir Reginald splashes forward into the shallow river. "For the High One! And for Marissa!" he shouts, invoking the name of his fallen squire. His sword slashes out, finishing off the raider R3N-L3 wounded and dispatching a second one with a critical hit!
OOC:
Start of This Round
Tzal blasts the enemy commander who escaped the jellyfish with another jellyfish, though this one fails to grab a hold. Still, the man is now critically injured. Lauretta misses with her arrow, but Wolfram's finds a raider's throat and takes him down!
OOC:
There are 9 regular raiders in the river now plus the two commanders, one of which is held by a jellyfish. @Lcythas may still act if R3N-L3 wishes to take the initiative. I'll roll for the NPC allies after that before the enemies have a chance to act again.

Rolls

Sir Reginald Sword Attacks - (d20+3+2d6h1, d20+3+2d6h1)

d20+3+2d6h1 : (11) + (22) + 3 = 16

d20+3+2d6h1 : (12) + (56) + 3 = 21

Damage - (3d6, 4d6)

3d6 : (115) = 7

4d6 : (3264) = 15

May 20, 2025 12:18 pm
OOC:
R3N-L3's just standing there, happy to tank all the hits. He's saving his reaction for possible defensive actions.
