You find a book about gardening. If you read it, it seems to have no significance to this quest.

You find a scroll. However it's not a spell. The title reads "Yuri's Manifesto". If you read the rest of it, roll a DR12 presence test. If you fail, you lose 1 presence permanently. If you succeed you'll gain 1 instead.

Jotna looks to the others and nods, saying, "Well, let's see what awaits us in the dining room..." And she heads in.

After looting the room, you advance to the dining room. As you may have expected, Malista is seated there waiting for you. The room as well as she looks as radiant as ever. "Well done, dreamers." She says but then changes her mid. "No, heroes!" She once again gestures you to take a seat and indulge in the food and drink on the table. But she doesn't insist since the illusion has already been revealed.

Lady Malista

"You have vanquished my assailant. For that I am grateful. Though the evil isn't destroyed, I doubt it will have the chance to regain its power before I leave this place. So for now I have the needed time to prepare my journey." She tells you. "I will uphold my end of the deal and give you a worthy reward. Within my powers, of course. Then you are free to leave."

She looks over at the beds. "Or, if any of you changed your mind, I can still offer you the life of your dreams." She raises an eyebrow, curious to see your reaction.

OOC:

Each of you can let us know which reward you get from Malista. What would your character ask from this divine being and how does it manifest itself?
A magical item? A new skill? All the money you can carry? The only limit is that she would never make you as powerful as she is herself.

Jotna asks for a family, a home of others like her -- lizard people, perhaps, or shape changers -- that can be her new family, safe for as long as can be expected before it all ends.
