Where do you want to go first? Besides the The Hollow Hearth Tavern, Inn, & Brewery there are several stores in town, as well as the shrine. The locals may be able to guide and advise you.
- Evergreen Provisions (General Store & Supply Depot)
- The Timber & Stone Workshop (Blacksmith & Carpenter)
- Willowbrook Remedies (Herbalist & Healer)
- The Hunter’s Roost (Fletcher & Tannery)
- Silverbrook Temple (Small Shrine to the Gods of the Wild & Hearth)
- Guard Barracks & Watchtowers
Or just head out to search on your own.

Alden turns to Des, studying him for a brief moment before nodding. "Your bow would be a welcome addition," he says simply, appreciating the hunter’s offer.

As he speaks, his gaze drifts around the Hollow Hearth Tavern, Inn, & Brewery. Alden scans the room, looking for someone who might have knowledge of the surrounding region—perhaps a well-traveled merchant, an old hunter, or even the innkeeper, who likely hears more than most.

The door of you appear to be the only non local people in town. Combining with the fact that the runs you will be investigating are at least somewhat in the valley, though you research may take you beyond, the local woodsmen seem a good place to start. Any hunters were likely party of the defense force archers during yesterday's storm but you didn't see any at present. A quick chat with Merris points you to talking with a couple locals

Elder Rowan Marshwillow Leader of the Settlement, likely at the long house across the town center. The de facto leader of Timberhollow, Rowan is a wise and patient half-elf woman who has lived in the valley for decades. She seeks to keep the town safe and is wary of digging too deep into the valley’s history.

Old Mother Aedwyn Herbalist & Healer at the Willowbrook Remedies. A mysterious figure, Aedwyn is respected but feared, as she knows the valley’s hidden truths. Some whisper that she is much older than she appears.

Ralven Thornfoot, a quiet but respected halfling, and owner of The Hunter’s Roost. He wild be the best contact for recent information or getting in touch with the local woodsmen.

"I suggest we start with Ralven Thornfoot at The Hunter’s Roost. What do you think, Cass?"

She nods and replies, "I am always happy to return to the wood! And if speaking to this Ralven leads us in that direction, I am in favor."

"Great. Let's go and talk to Mr. Thornfoot."

The marked checkbox in the character sheet means it's already spent today or is it the other way around?

Des takes the quiver hesitantly, then nods and says "Many thanks." You get the sense that he is unaccustomed to gifts. After adjusting his equipment, he seems eager to visit this Hunter's Roost.

The Hunter’s Roost is a simple shop, and one of the few that sits at the dsge of town, not the center, positioned near the "back" door to the village it has a large yard and small warehouse behind it that cary the scent f blood, oils, and other scents tied to slaughterhouses and tanneries. The shop is simple and the door left opn. Stepping inside you are nearly overwhelmed by the scents that are thicker here.

Ralven Thornfoot
Straight ahead you see a large low counter, about 1 1/2' from the ground. Behind this low counter is a wide walkway and a door to the yard and another to the warehouse, which is closed. To one side of the room is a taller counter and behind it you see several items set out on display, including bows, arrows, leather goods, and simple armor. Standing behind the taller counter, likely on an elevated walkway, is a tanned duende who looks you over as you enter.

Morning. I hear you lot helped out with the town defense yesterday. I must thank you and will gift you 25% off of any single purchase. Now what can I help you with?

Alden nods in greeting, taking a moment to adjust to the thick scent of the shop. His sharp eyes take in the halfling well-worn workspace and the quality of the goods on display, before he steps closer to the taller counter.

"I appreciate the offer," he says with a small nod, "but what I need most right now is information." He rests a hand lightly on the counter. "I’m investigating the old ruins in this region—specifically, any that might still be intact. There are records suggesting this area held some importance during or before the Dawn War. If you or anyone you know has knowledge of such places, I’d be willing to compensate you for your time."

Then, stepping slightly to the side, he glances at his companions. "That said, if any of you are looking to stock up on supplies, now’s the time." He waits, giving them a chance to browse or ask anything before continuing the conversation.

Ralven looks over your group with a slight frown. Well, ther are sevral that know about the ruins. They're not that hard to find, so long as you look long enough and arn't blind a fool. There are actually a couple I even know of. But the question most would ask is what do you intend to do when you find some. and he appraises you as you respond.

John raises a hand in greeting to the two behind their counters. "It was an honor to protect the town."
Hearing Alden, he nods looking around the store. "I could take a look around."

John looks at all the goods offered, mainly just browsing. Letting Alden ask the questions, as he knows more of the quest ahead.

The Tiny info sheet has a section with basic store goods and prices, let me know if you need help accessing it.

FYI : Conversations with NPC do not need to be linear exchange you me you. Instad of walking through conversations you can just explain your characters intent, list things you wish to say and ask. I will respond in kind.

The store is mainly stocked with leather and wood goods, with anywhere from 1 to 5 of each item. There are cloacks, boots, a couple bows, arrows, packs, and more

Cass thanks the shopkeeper for the discount and says, "That is kind, Ralven! Thank you. I would like to take you up on that offer and purchase this Herbalism Kit and this Healer's Kit. So that would be 7 gold 5 silver instead of the normal 10 gold, yes?" She hands over the coin.
OOC:
That is, assuming they have a healers kit?

Des looks around the shop. He listens to the conversation, spots a display of bows and goes to investigate.
OOC:
Out of curiosity, would you like me to track arrows?
