Jharib scoffs, annoyed. "Oh, come on... This is not how I planned for this day to go." He pulls scimitar and grimaces, feeling it probably won't do him much good but it's better than nothing.

Psybermagi says:
Peeing down the stairs Jharib spots the golem heading back up the stairs.
Quick note: I was giggling to myself about that typo. Just imagining him being mid-stream and going "uh-oh".

Rolls

Initiative - (2d6)

(53) = 8

Feb 24, 2025 5:51 pm
OOC:
snort ?, ok I will proof read more

No need for initiative. Just go ahead and act.
I tend to skip initiative in PbP just to keep things moving
Feb 24, 2025 6:05 pm
Jharib crouches low, strafing around the golem. Taking advantage of it being distracted, he scans the construct to see if it has some sort of weak point or control. "Perhaps there's a signal or button of some kind", he thinks to himself.

Zarn steps back from the golem with a powerful twist of his tail and then throws his bone dagger at it.
OOC:
First action is to move away from the golem (25 ft.)

Second action is to throw one dagger at the golem.

Rolls

Attack Golem - (2d6)

(64) = 10

Feb 25, 2025 4:50 am
OOC:
Spell Touched, like heavy weapons, can only be used once per round, though only requiring a single action. This allows the other action to be used to Focus, Evade, Move, or Attack with a weapon.
All mystic powers only use the standard test unless they explicitly state otherwise so only 2d6 for Spell touched.
Since the stated intent of Azure was to Knock the golem down I will take the 2nd roll as my good deed of the day
Jharib still gets 1 additional action
Azure unleashes an arcane wave at the golem causing it to stumble as Zarn slams a dagger into the golems stout frame. Advantage to be hit by the next attack to roll from Azure's spell
Feb 25, 2025 7:29 pm
Second action.

With Azure knocking the creature off balance, Jharib stabs at the golem's back.

Rolls

Scimitar Attack (Focus + Advantage) - (3d6)

(422) = 8

Jharib bald into the wooden limbs of the golem but the unfeeling automaton does not even flinch as it slams is fists at the dwarf 2 damage as its proud target has retreated.
OOC:

3d6 : (426) = 12

3d6 : (545) = 14

Wisps of energy swirl around the sheaths of Zarn's daggers. He throws his second dagger as the first one returns to his hand.
OOC:
Action 1: Throw dagger #2

Action 2: Recall dagger #1

Rolls

Dagger attack - (2d6)

(45) = 9

Feb 26, 2025 3:46 pm
Jharib! Watch out!

Azure collects a large amount of force together and launches it at the golem
OOC:
Action 1: focus
Action 2: magic attack

Rolls

Magic attack against golem - (3d6)

(416) = 11

Feb 26, 2025 4:14 pm
Jharib falls back, feeling one of his ribs crack. "Gahh. I'm going to feel that in the morning."

He gets up and begins to duck and weave to make sure the golem has to really focus on him to connect with another attack.
Suddenly, his eyes grow wide and he snaps his fingers. He undoes the rope tied around his backpack. "Azure! Maybe we can knock him down! Take one end and we'll charge him!"

The dwarf takes some of the rope and throws it to his companion.

+ Evade
+ Test to Throw Rope to Azure

Rolls

Throw Rope to Azure - (2d6)

(61) = 7

golem

Psybermagi Inactive for 1 months

Zarn hurls his dagger which slams into the golem, gouging its form the Azure sends a focused blast of arcane energy that sears the golem before catching the rope tossed to her by Jharib, who tries to keep its attention while evading.

golem
Shifting its focus automatically to the latest threat the golem advances on Azure and tries to slam its fist into her. 1 damage. The golem is showing the damage you have dealt but it does not yet appear severe as it is still moving fast and strong.
OOC:
Typical damage stages of HP : unharmed 100%, lightly 99-76%, Moderate 75-51%, Severe 50-26%, Critical 25-1%
I do not usually mention damage levels until at least reaching moderate levels unless asked.

The rope is held by the two and with that good earlier roll you can either
1. have advantage on a single test use of the rope (trip, knock of balance to grant advantage on next action)
2. both roll a basic test for a more complex manure (restrain, roll it down the stairs, etc) allowing partial success for each success rolled
3. something else creative.

Rolls

Golem attack x2 Adv vs Azure - (3d6, 3d6)

3d6 : (155) = 11

3d6 : (414) = 9

Feb 26, 2025 7:28 pm
"Azure! Are you ok?" Jharib is trying to keep his cool, jumping his gaze between Azure and the golem. He knows his next move depends on her response.
Feb 26, 2025 8:15 pm
Azure shakes her head trying to quickly recover.

Lets get it down!

Azure takes her end of the rope, and tries to sweep the golem's legs from under it.

After she waits for any extra input from Jharib.
OOC:
Using an action to try to trip the golem, then saving the second to aid with Jharibs next action with the rope.

Rolls

Rope Trip Advantage - (3d6)

(143) = 8

Feb 26, 2025 8:42 pm
"On 3, we charge him. We drag the rope behind us to clip his ankles. 1... 2... 3!"

Jharib charges forward.

Rolls

charging to trip the golem with Azure - (2d6)

(64) = 10

Feb 27, 2025 1:50 pm
Under the assault of the golem Azure has difficulty using the rope but Jharib is still able to take advantage of the situation and causes the loop of the rope to swipe the golems feet out from under it, knocking it off its feet entirely.
OOC:
If you have stated clearly your intended actions and I have OK'd them, as done here, then feel free to narrate results and continue your actions. Both Azure and Jharib have 1 more action and Zarn is still up with 2
Feb 27, 2025 2:29 pm
"Good move!"

Zarn takes advantage of the situation and throws his recalled dagger.
OOC:
Action 1: Throw dagger #1

Action 2: Recall dagger #2

Rolls

Attack roll - dagger - (2d6)

(45) = 9

Feb 27, 2025 2:45 pm
OOC: Was this golem from the tower or did it come in from outside?
Feb 27, 2025 4:01 pm
OOC:
Zarn saw a larger construct outside. It patrolled around the tower.
This golem is from upstairs inside the tower
Zarn's blade strikes the golem, injuring it again.
Feb 27, 2025 4:08 pm
"Azure! Lets subdue the golem. If it belongs to the guy who works here, I'm sure he wont be too happy we destroyed his work, especially since I'm not sure if it knows we are trying to help it's master."

Jharib attempts to tie up the golem. "It's ok, buddy. Your master is in trouble and we're here to help."
