Just a heads up, I will be travelling for the next few weeks and hopping timezones so I may not post in a timely manner. Amalthea does not have the spells or components to cast away any evil unfortunately. Assume she is mainly there as a meat shield and hammering away when able.

Just made the newest post. Thanks everyone for sticking with me, and thanks quilltid for the kind words! I'm glad you're enjoying the game, and I look forward to making it even better.

We are currently down to two active players. After this dungeon, I want to check in with the two of you and see if you want to keep playing. Once the party escapes the dungeon we can advertise for more players. I will also try to PM the missing players to see how they're doing. I know we all have busy lives and it helps to reach out.

I am happy to carry on, and look for some others to join us.

Busy week but I messaged MaJunior after inactivity, and I will invite the people on the waiting list by next week. In the meantime, I invite the two of you to finish escaping the dungeon, since I will likely introduce the new players once you're out anyway. Another idea I want to float is increasing the pace of this game, maybe to 3/week? Seeing the words "1 post per week" tends to trick my brain into not posting for weeks at a time. If 1/week is better then we can keep it that way.

I always like more posts a week, but whatever works for Mathfuric, MaJunior, and the new players coming onboard.

For sure; it's always tough filling 5e games because there are so many great applicants. They truly always fill up immediately lol.

I'm going with a wizardess. Shaelyn is a Wizard of the Arcane Tradition of Transmutation. She is a native Barovian (if that is acceptable) whose brother went on an expedition to Castle Ravenloft and never returned. She would be seeking to find out what happened to her brother.

Welcome and excited to have new players! Amalthea is a dwarf paladin. Roles I remember we had before were ranger, cleric, and rogue/monk. Magic sounds good!
