3. The Meeting

Danika sees the arrows launch up to her. She raises her shield and hears three of the arrows plonk into the shield. Thinking it is over, she lowers her shield only to receive the fourth arrow right in the face.

"By the dawn!" she yelps. She feels her face and the blood of her wound.

"You dare challenge a knight of the Morninglord?" she shouts. "So be it!"

She yells, trying to sound as knightly and intimidating as she can be.
