Thanks for clarifying! Updated my post to make Grace less worried about the hit, and as a result, also a little too cocky for someone who just blew her last fab point to hit with her minimum damage.

@rimestock I believe you can make more than one reroll, at the cost of another fab point.

(And yeah, it’s easy to forget you can keep one and reroll one. Upside: with snake-eyes, there’s no question you should reroll both!)

You can't re-roll a Fumble (Double 1s)

I'm okay with ignoring the second roll & just taking the 4 from the first roll and the 1 from the second roll. Not great but not a Fumble either. You can spend another Fabula Point to re-re-roll the 1 if you wish.

Oh, true! Although I only have 1 point left, hmm...

The good news is...when you Fumble, you get a Fabula Point!

When I came up with The Three Graces, I based the instruments on a real three-piece band of twenty years ago—the all-male Whirlwind Heat.

But there’s actually a current band that has the look I imagined for the Graces:

Wow… 32 HP left, assuming it’s 300. I just rolled a 10 as the high roll, and Grace is ahead in initiative. Hopefully Piphany hits. I’m pretty sure she deals more damage than Grace.

What a weird month. My pc also broke down and so did some of my friends'. Hope you got it fixed!

Also, I'm glad we pulled off such a big fight. Thank you for your effort @witchdoctor. So many NPCs to manage and you still kept the story going at a good pace!

I must admit, stumbling on using a Status Spreadsheet when I started the first fight with the Goblins was a happy accident! I doubt I could've pulled it off without that. I'm glad it moved as well as it did and hopefully had a good time.
Balancing enemies in Fabula can be really tricky & I'm glad it didn't go off the rails like I thought it might.

That was an epic battle—genuinely scary and super-fun!!

Gotta say I love Grace and Raquel's conversation. They actually feel so alive.

@Dmbrainiac, I can’t get the mental picture of Pee Wee Herman painting sapphic nudes out of my head. He’s contorting himself, standing tippy-toe on his white elevator shoes, and making those "ahhh, haha, aaahhhh!" sounds.

It seems like something Pee Wee would have done.

So if I target 1 enemy, cost is 10 MP. Target 3 enemies, it’s 30 MP.

If I also take Tuning (via the human skill, Skill Practice), that reduces every spell casting by 5 MP.

So for Resonance Beat, is that 5 MP per target, or do I subtract 5 MP from the total (so it’s 5 for one, 25 for three)?

It's just subtracts 5 from the total. So it'd be 5MP for one target, 15 MP for 2 & 25 MP for 3.

Hmm… maybe Maestro’s Echo is good enough then. I assume Isborn will learn an AoE.
