"Lord Etrival? The one with the boggle?" Admiral frowns. "You don’t reckon he had something to do with all this, do you?" He gestures to the boggles corpse and the dead eelhounds.
"It is certainly possible. He could have resented that we tricked the court so effectively," Regan says with a shrug. "Or he may just want the lantern."
"Oh great. So a fey lord is probably out to to get us too, with a army of those slimy minions that took us prisoner at his command. Perfect." interjects Khyree.
She looks off in the direction of the moon about to slip under the trees. "It will be dawn soon." She turns back to Admiral. "Thanks to you it is still possible for Rowan and I to bring the kid to Lady Oceana as we promised him. That is... if the lantern bearer freely allows us to tag along with the party." Her gaze acknowledges Jin.
"I'm sure he will," says Admiral, standing up and stretching. He does not appear to let the events of the previous night, or the new debt weighing on his soul, trouble him as he surveys the jungle stretching out below like a mysterious green ocean, a sparkle of adventure in his eye. "Who's ready to explore that temple then?"
JIn nods in agreement with Admiral and turns to Khyree. "Of course! It seems we all seek Lady Oceana. You, for the sake of the child and us, to reunite with my troupe’s ship. So far we have done a decent job helping each other stay alive."
He turns back to Admiral. "Yes the temple. Cordey believes that the Old Ones who protected us up here want us to go there. I think we should. I just hope it doesn't have the consequence of routing us from our goal."
