@Legendary_Sidekick: Amelie gets 3 tokens towards their journey. They need 1 more to complete it!
@Redcroc: Hey Kid gets 3 tokens. You may apply them to any of their stats on the radar chart. The Ptisilith also gets 2 tokens, which you can use to add more to its runes.
@TheGenerator: Sal gets 2 tokens. His current journey doesn't use tokens so we can put those towards Yazeba's journey to start coaxing her out of her office. You can narrate something happening to further Sal's journey, though: either getting someone to listen to his album, selling a record, or getting someone important to listen to his music.We now have 6 square mementos and 2 circle mementos. We can use them as we see fit to unlock chapters and/or guests. Please refer to the tracking document! There are only 2 starting chapters left so we could do one of those next or spend Mementos to unlock a new shelf or new chapter to play.
Sounds good. I'll gladly give the 2 tokens to Yazeba.
I'll write a thing for Sal's journey sometime this week. I need to get some inspiration first, I think. Which thread do I use for that?
How about we unlock the bus stop? It needs 3 square mementos to do to.
And then there are some chapters to unlock in the backyard. 2 square ones and a circle. That would finish the backyard.
Alright, I've used 3 Square Mementos to unlock the Bud Woodruff and open up the Abandoned Bus Stop, and 1 Circle Memento to unlock Our Little Island. We now have 3 Square Mementos and 2 Circle Mementos.
We'll need Parish and Moon Prince for this chapter. I'll play one of them if nobody else wants to, otherwise I'd like to play Viv for this chapter.
Okay, so we'll have Redcroc as Parish, TheGenerator as Moon Prince, me as Viv, and Legendary_Sidekick as Lucille McRoss? Or Amelie, or whoever they'd like. :)
Each of us should write down six landmarks, flotsam and jetsam, and/or hazards. Once that's done, I'll randomize them and make the "map" for us to sail on!
Landmarks:
- The tree house in the big oak. Now easily accessible with a boat
- A beaver dam built between two houses
Sams:
- Two clam-eating otters
- A floating skeleton. Is that Rag n Bones?
Hazards:
- Thorny thicket. The tops of trees have become thick bushes in the flood.
- A bunch of angry geese.
Landmarks:
• a clothesline with several mermaid bikini tops hung out to dry
• the ruins of a still-partially-intact sandcastle with a date scratched in a cement-like cornerstone: 7/23/1925 (also a hazard if you kick it)
Flotsam:
• a Wilson brand volley ball with a handprint
• a corked bottle with a message inside
Hazards:
• a beach fulla blue jellyfish 🪼
• a sign that says "DANGER" (The sign is made of jagged boards, held together by rusty nails that are longer than the boards, and the word danger was painted on using lead paint.)
🪼 Six-year-old me knows the pain of this hazard.
I think I gotta play Amelie and get that last token..!
