I'm having a hard time with my next post. So Gertrude kinda told everyone to buzz off and she doesn't need their help. I want to work towards a happy ending of the chapter, but my gut feeling is telling me that both Amelie and Edmund offering new 'advice' to Gertrude would just make her angrier. She's not enjoying grown-ups telling her what to do. Even if they probably know best. Hehe.

If I take that route, though, a happy conclusion seems difficult on this one.

Any ideas?

I think this probably should have an unhappy conclusion to emphasize Gertrude’s heartless nature. That should spur the other characters towards wanting to track down Monday and get her heart back!

I think it is great! It fits the tone of the chapter very well and shows another aspect of her heartlessness.

We'll get the happy ending later when we get her heart back!

Next chapter I'm playing someone nice, though :P

I've applied the leftovers to the characters. @TheGenerator, Gertrude's Heartache track filled up, so you should black out a single word from her "Facts About Me" section. @Legendary_Sidekick, Amelie's Aeronaut track filled up, so you should take somebody on an adventure above the clouds. Once the track fills up a second time, we can do that again and then complete the journey.

We now have 1 square and 4 circle mementos. We can choose a new chapter to play or unlock things on the shelves. Or, if we're ready to try to fix Gertrude, we can convert some of the circles to squares and use 4 of them to track down Monday.

Does the line still need to make sense? Like I could turn "I'm a moody teenager" into "I'm a moody".
Is it also possible to add something about the shadows to her sheet? I feel like she's gained a friend :D

I'm down for getting her heart back. But I'd like to not play Gertrude next.

It just says black out a word, so you can make a line not make sense if you'd like! :D

You can always add things to your sheet at any time, so feel free to write something about your shadow friend.

@Dmbrainiac , should I create a thread for Amelie’s flight? (If it’s meant to be a single post, I could use that for both flights, and also the dream for the fourth journey.)

It's up to you depending on how in depth you want the aerial adventure to be. :D

I hadn’t thought of how this would play out. But… a couple players in B☢️MBSHELLS used letters and postcards with photos for the vacation posts. I could maybe steal those ideas.

I've posted the details for Monday's game. I'll play as Monday since their mechanics involve hidden cards. We'll need somebody to play Yazeba and Gertrude, then the third person can play anybody of their choice.

For the next chapter, I don't mind being Yazeba or Gertrude. But if others claim them, I was thinking of playing Moon Prince.

Also, I'm going to be out of town until Sunday, so my posting rate will probably slow down until then.
