@spaceseeker19 do you have a plan with this warewolf encounter, or have you just thrown this into the wind to see what happens?

When you run games, frequently your players surprise you.

I haven't determined in advance how it's going to play out, if that's what you mean, and I don't intend to. Will he end up committing murder? Will he infect others? Will he save the day? Will he fight the other PCs? Will they capture him or kill him? Nothing is set.

But the events in the city will continue to develop much as they would have if Adran hadn't contracted lycanthropy, or if he'd taken any of the opportunities presented in previous chapters to seek help and get the curse removed. The city is still under attack and on fire; one of their own being a werewolf just adds an additional wrinkle to the existing encounters that the party may face. Yes, Adran-the-werewolf is chaotic evil and not as smart as Adran-the-elf, but that doesn't mean that he will mindlessly attack the helpless or other party members. Though these feelings do not constrain him in any way, he can still feel affection and loyalty to those who have helped him in the past, and they can guide him. His oath to the Orb - which was already focused on revenge rather than protection - really dovetails nicely with his CE impulses. It is directing him to fight those that he perceives as other evildoers (after they have demonstrated that fact by harming innocents). I suspect he would defend himself - evil always tends to view itself as innocent! - but he won't attack indiscriminately. Does that help?

Oof. @Eyes, you are well on your way to earning one (or, if you're really lucky, two) more achievement!

You think this is bad, we started a 2E game and currently there's a 3 on 1 fight between a Paladin, a Barbarian, and a War Cleric... against a door.

We're losing.

Doors are always the biggest baddest EG's in D&D. We all know that. ALWAYS. Except for the party I run in where I play tank. We have no rogue, no monk, no one who is sneaky or subtle. But I have a barbarian with maxed strength score and a crowbar and a bard who is liberal with the inspirations. My satyr has made it through every lock the party needed to get through so far.

Yeah, but everyone has rolled I believe 5 or lower on their to hits. Multiple 1s. Some players more than once.

Furious that that stupid bear had taken his kill, Adran howls at the dwarf-turned-bear before he (the elf-turned-wolf...ish) turned and ran off into the night, trying to find another battle to dominate.
Since there is no one in the party who can cast Remove Curse on Adran (yet), if Juniper and Morik don't interfere with his leaving by making an opportunity attack, I think I will start a separate thread for where the werewolf goes (and anybody else who abandons the people in the Chapel to chase after him, if any). It's likely to be a few days before the burning Chapel encounter ends, and, whenever I can avoid it, I try to not keep one player waiting doing nothing.

split the party, make a werewolf tread

Honestly? Either is fine. I can certainly wait for the others if it's easier.

As soon as we finish this round (which is when Adran runs off), I'll start the next thread.

I think i"m a turn behind. am I or no, after calling EO he would leave the door and make his way to the windows on the side of the building closest to her.

Then he's going to try and get her out without much care for anyone else

@Eyes - Yes, you're correct. Woody only moved and spoke in round five; he still can have taken an action. You can say that he Dashed as his action, if you want him to have moved again. However, there are no windows in the Chapel of Torht.

I'm sorry I haven't been describing the interior better. Eozindra is currently 60' away from Woody, but there is a lot of fire directly between them. If Woody goes outside the Chapel, he won't be able to tell where Eozindra is, and would just have to smash through the wall like the Kool-Aid man, when he feels like he's close.
If he moves inside the Chapel, he'll end up next to Faith 25' in (the closest he can get to Eozindra without getting in the fire - about halfway into the Chapel) or in another space that is on fire (at the limit of his Dash at 30').

Just post in the game thread where/how you want him to move. I know you've already posted that you wanted him to go outside, but you can confirm or amend that based on this information.
