Just a heads up: my Mon-Wed schedule is pretty tight. I'm in bed early, up even earlier, and not home until late. Tue/Wed tend to be 14 hour days from me from the time I wake to the time I get back home, so I might be slower to post on these days. Don't let me hold up initiative if I'm the only one stopping things from progressing. You can bump me to the end or just do whatever makes sense in the moment, if it's dodging or shooting something or healing or using the flute like a fire alarm.

Things are getting easier here too. Been figuring out boundaries and responsibilities with my mom's needs.

Even though Faith is the last PC to act in the round, it should be pretty clear to everybody that Goblin A is not a threat, as it's not going to last until its turn!

Zin is going to pummel him first chance she gets. It won't do any damage because she's a -1 STR, but she'll still try.

Fair, fair. When I think about it in context of the oath, Zin would agree with protecting the populace, but she really doesn't trust the Duke. She hasn't like him since the first and is inclined to believe he has something to do with this so she wants to figure out where he is in all of this.

Juniper cares for the safety of the Queen, but her priority is the people. In part due to her backstory, but also because they don't have the kind of guardianship that the Queen has. So she'll be following whoever goes to save the civilians, IF the party splits.

And I don't think Juniper knows much about this Duke or anything. She probably has BASIC general knowledge of the ruling body, so the Queen and some queens before her (like a general history of Greenwold, I would assume).

We can help people on the way to the Queen/castle. Might be she has info or some other means to help us. We’ve already got stragglers relying on us, and they need to be taken somewhere safe.

Also, if the two dragons we saw are any indication, there are forces way stronger than us, and we won’t be doing anyone any good just running around without a safe destination.

And if we use the orb to successfully control a dragon or two, we can use it/them to wipe out the goblins and ogres and whatever else is rampaging through the town, then force it to leave and buy the entire city some time.
