e could spend the night with the supplies to ensure they remain safe.
OOC:
I like this idea. We collect a few ears then head to the stash and barrack ourselves in. We have enough supplies to eat up and our Gnome friend will be able to get a sleep sorted as well.
I was talking about the Kopper Kettle, but if it works mechanically for us to camp elsewhere - that is, if we get the benefit of rest elsewhere in the dungeon - then I'm all for bedding down in the storage room(s).
You can rest anywhere. The challenge is getting uninterrupted rest.
The Kopper Kettle is a recognised neutral zone in the dungeon. It's relatively unlikely that you will be disturbed.
Elsewhere in the dungeon, you are always going to be at the mercy of wandering monster checks. You can, of course, take suitable precautions. But there will always be an additional degree of risk that you won't have at the Kopper Kettle.
Luther looks at the others" I could use a rest in a bed since we are here. Maybe what they consider a decent meal before we head back out. The stuff should be fine."
"Sounds alright to me!" says Ricard with a yawn. He wasn't sure that what they had here were proper beds by any measure, but it beat sleeping on the stone floor.
Pickles is happy to follow Ricard’s lead, "Let us rest up then and get to our business on the ‘morrow." He then turns to his diminutive friend, "Hey Johann, I am happy to pay for your bed and food if you are still short, pun intended."
OOC:
What spells will Johann (Gnome) have to choose from? Or do we still need to get him a spell book?

Johann explains that he has/had a single spell in his spell book - Colour Spray. Unfortunately, his book was taken from him when he was captured by the orcs.
Maybe they still have it, and it can be retrieved? Or maybe the orcs have used it for toilet paper.
