"I believe I saw the river you speak of on my way in," Regan comments, falling silent in contemplation before continuing. "Yes, I feel that's the case. I briefly considered investigating what I saw, but charging off into the forests alone chas8ng after what I may have seen seemed... unwise."

Turning to Captain Admiral and eyeing his wounds, Regan simply asks, "May I stop the bleeding?" And then without waiting for a reply, reaches forward to channel healing energy into the lacerations.

Chapter 3: Maulia Encounters

Hearing the conversation between Cordey, Regan, and Admiral, the bartender Jaran calls out to the trio from behind the bar, "If you are convinced that you have chased away the undead and if you would be so kind to have your people get those rotten husks out of my tavern, the next round for everyone is on the house. I'm just happy my place wasn't destroyed in that scuffle. Thank you."

Upon hearing Jaran's offer, Rafa stands up strait, grabs the nearest mug on the bar (which is probably not even his) and downs it. He smiles and holds the empty mug out to Jaran.

Jaran shakes his head and continues addressing the trio as well as Jin, "I can even offer my common room upstairs for the small fee of 5 silver. As many as can fit can spend the night there or the downstairs private rooms are available for 2 gold each."

Admiral watches, fascinated, as the bleeding stops and his wounds begin to heal. "Oh! That’s a useful trick. I wish my ship’s surgeon knew how to do that."

He glances over his shoulder as Jaran pipes up behind the bar. "Of course! We’ll have this place shipshape again in no time," he responds, motioning to his crew to begin cleaning up the bodies with a wave of his hand.

Cordey says to them, "Come tomorrow to Martin's and should get any provision needed before hand." as others start cleaning up. Obviously, Cordey plans to leave with Lelay for the night as he has own place.

After all, the locals likely have a better idea of what's to come. May as well find out what can be found out, in order to plan accordingly.

Regan would find out from locals that the river goes about 50 miles inland and becomes Menehune Lake. Tales say fey run rampant in the woods and water fey rule the lake.

I've started a thread for Chapter 4. But I'm assuming everyone is looking for a night's rest. (MaJunior and oopsylon where do Regan and Admiral lodge?)

If there is anything you would like your character to do during the night or there's something they would have done while still hanging out in the tavern, or if there's still more conversation between Regan, COrdey, and Admiral, go ahead and continue here. (I may edit the Chapter 4 opening post depending on what anyone says here.)

Chapter 3: Maulia Encounters

In an effort to forget his worries about Tarron, Admiral spends the rest of the evening trying to have as much fun as possible drinking and socializing with his crew and the other patrons of the tavern. He ends up drinking far more than he probably should. He returns to the Whisker with the rest of his crew in the very early hours of the morning and passes out on the floor of his cabin.

After assuring the others he would assist the following day, Regan pays for a private room and takes a meal before retiring for the night.
