What games would you love to run on here?

I don’t necessarily share the same qualms, but I can understand why others might. I would hope that no one would be playing a game like that to gleefully live out or recreate war crimes, which would be where I would start to have a problem.

That said, since the setting is global you could definitely do it in a different area! If I remember right, I think even some of the prewritten adventures are in North America.

I’ll let you know if/when I run them!

I'd like to run a ScienceFantasy game in German, because for telling in a game I like to use the subtleties of language I still can't get done in English.

But I'm unsure if it'd be allowed here to do it and if there are enough players willing to use this language for play. ;-)

For the record, it's absolutely allowed! The mods just ask that the advertisement (effectively the part of the game that's public) be in English. We have several Italian games here, and I think one in... Danish?

Cairn 2e. I love the simplicity of it. Also, the implied setting looks great.

Cairn 2e is pretty great -- running a game of it now here on GP to go through Black Wyrm of Brandonsford.

Don't let Harrigan hear you talking about the implied setting! He's running a game of it, you can take a look and see it in practice!

It seems to play as I hoped it would.

I've thought of another game I would like to run on here. It's based on an old tabletop campaign that I ran using the d20 Modern rules. If I did it now, I would probably use GURPS instead, just because it is more versatile. In the campaign, the drow and their allies from a fantasy world launched an attack on our world, which was completely unprepared for magic. The ensuing war decimated Earth, and the drow were victorious. Now, pockets of human resistance fighters allied with visitors from the other world fight against the drow oppressors in the ruins of our Earth. Some humans have begun moving between the two worlds and learning magic as well.

I haven't logged on here in ages, but I'd be interested in running Pits & Perils (OD&D inspired 2d6 system). Im not sure about Savage Worlds, but probably just be a player for that
