Guide: Embedding Images into your Post

With UK IP addresses getting blocked by Imgur, it would be a kindness if GMs who have UK based players seek alternatives to hosting images other than the incredibly useful "Upload to Imgur" feature that was added a few years ago. This thread lists multiple alternatives, some of which may no longer work unfortunately.
