I can't really imagine that being an issue on GP. For news sites or something I'd get it but here...? ?‍♀️
Then again, I'm probably not the average user of this site and I'm only going off my own preferences, not any business reasons

Not sure if this is the best place to mention this, but I just noticed while checking the new staging server that the icons for collapsing and expanding the announcements are backwards.

Is it just me of should there be a down-facing arrow to show that we can expand a thing and an up-facing arrow to show that we can roll it up? Is that not the normal way?

Also, if it is easy enough to do programatically, it would be useful to change the tab title on the staging server so we can know which we are looking at.

I think the way it is now is the common way to do it

URL tags always open in a new tab. ... surely URLs for this site can stay on the current tab. I regularly finish a GP session with dozens of tabs open.
Still opening links in new tabs after latest release. :(

It'd be a bug if it didn't as I haven't implemented this.

I think you're right, but I'm not 100%
