Guidelines link

Do we want the "follow the guidelines" link on the search pages?

It's on the forum pages, but weirdly not on the thread or advanced posting page where you'd be posting from.

Now that's an interesting post. I wish I knew what the context is ?

I have no strong feelings on it being on the search pages but if I had to choose, I'd probably say yes. Also makes sense to add it to threads/advanced posting. It's small enough that it shouldn't bother anyone

Fair enough. I'll add it to those other places too.

Do the red shirts want to review and change the content? Perhaps add something about reporting issues?

I vote "meh".

I would be surprised if anyone ever reads that again before making a post.

I found it strange (and a little obnoxious) that it stayed there after I looked at it when I started. Splashing it all over the place seems like a step backwards, and putting it on the search page seems pointless since people are probably not thinking about writing stuff when they are searching.

I never even notice it because it's so small so I have no problem having it in more places. But you're right that it probably doesn't need to be there and has little use. So I guess no reason to put it everywhere

I'm completely blind to it too. Maybe in the Huge Dark Footer?

I think if the content contained instructions on what to do - who to contact etc then the rules might be more useful.
