Absences

Hey folks, I already mentioned it in individual games, but I'm going on a month-long hiatus for the duration of November. During it I am not going to check on the site - but if you *really* need to get my attention for some reason, send me a private message so I'll get an email notification. Or feel free to use another method of contact if I gave you one. :D

I just need a mental break, since for the entire summer my inspiration for creative stuff has been steadily declining. Otherwise I'm fine, I just find myself lacking enthusiasm for both writing and drawing; hopefully some brain rest will fix it.

If for whatever reason I don't return in December: it's been fun, thanks for the good experiences and feel free to do what you will with my characters in games I'm in. (I don't plan to not return, but one never knows.)

My posting largely curtailed, until Thurs 11/5.

On November 29th, I am making my bi-annual trek to Walt Disney World. I will be gone until December 8th, and will likely be unable to post or check in during that time. If I am in your game, please bot me as necessary. If you are in my game, sit tight, and I'll pick up when I return. I should be able to post fairly regularly right up until leaving.

Tomorrow, 27 November, is a national holiday here in the United States: Thanksgiving. I'll try to log in and post in the morning before guests arrive, but I'll be out most of the day Thursday and again on Saturday (we're hosting another Game Day).

Hey, guess which succulent is back after its hiatus? This one! :D
I'll start catching up with games this week - poke me if you need immediate input though!

Will be away this weekend on a christmas gift redistribution errand with family. Will bring my laptop with me, but don't know how much time I'll have to post as I will be driving most of Friday and Sunday. And since we'll be in the big city my wife want to go shopping to all the stores we don't have in our quiet, little seaside town (my bonus is I get to visit a game store).

I have managed to get the flu on my travels, and as such it may take me a little longer to catch up on all my games.

I'll be traveling this week for work, so may have some delays in posting, but will try and check in the evenings.

Well, I have had an unfortunate year and recovered from not just one bout of depression, but losing my job and then ending up with more depression. However, this time of year has helped, and I feel like I need to interact with folks while I figure out a new job, etc. (Haven't had a lot of luck, but keep hoping!).

Hang in there. 2026 will hopefully be a better year for all of us.

Take a deep breath and relax for a moment. Clear your mind and reprioritize, starting with yourself. Something will come along. It may not be what you want, but it will keep you in cash until you can get the job you want. Hang in there, and I'm always a PM away, if you need an ear or a shoulder.
