Sorry, everyone! I didn't quite get the next post completed today. I will post tomorrow morning with the L2 characters coming out of training and some "suggestions" from Olpert on what the Dungeon Busters can do next.

Sounds good! I didn't want to interrupt the introduction of the new players with me just strutting into the tavern. I can wait until there's an appropriate time for everyone to gather.

Whoops - I just realized that I haven't posted Xana's training montage yet. Sorry about that!

Just checking in with everybody, since we've had some turnover with players recently. Now that you've had some time in the game, how are you liking it? How is the pace, and the balance between role-play, exploration, and action?

On a tangential note, I'm happy to play out the interrogations...if that interests you and you're having fun with them. If you wish to, you can all post your questions for Jonbon and/or the bandits and I can write their responses (under the Zone of Truth) at once...if you want this to go faster.

I'm enjoying the game immensely.

As for the interrogation, I'm fine with listing questions in order to speed things up. I'd also like the opportunity to post follow-up questions based on the answers we're given.

And don't feel like Aanbo should be leading the interrogation. If anyone has something they'd like to ask, please do so!

How ever you want to do it GM. I'm good. Reptile is not there to do any questioning.

While it makes sense for a character to not want to question the prisoner, I don't want to make it feel like the players have to sit around idle. Feel free to add a question that hasn't yet been asked, and we can work it in.

I'm back! And I am sorry!!

The past two weeks were an absolute cluster... I had double shifts with no cellphone signal, my "other mom" had multiple strokes and hospitalizations, pet euthenasia, almost had to shoot someone at 5am last Sunday, my mom's birthday, and a highschool graduation.

I'm hoping this week goes back to normal. I'm burned out on excitement.

Thanks. I think this may be her new normal, but we'll see how she handles rehab. Weakness on her left side, some intermittent memory issues/confusion. My best friend since we were 15 passed just over two years ago (due to multiple strokes, ironically), and this is his mom. I felt pretty obligated to go visit and check on her. He isn't around to do it, so...

I've started a new job, and unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to keep up with this game (especially as I've been having a horrible time keeping up as it is.) Thanks for running, spaceseeker! I hope we'll have a chance to play together again in the future.

matmaisan. I really do like that picture of Martha. Has a touch of intrigue to it.

I like it quite a bit myself, GeneCortess, it encapsulates nicely the general feel I wanted for Myrtha. I have difficulty finding portraits for characters that are not stereotypically over-the-top fantasy representations of an adventurer. I prefer a more naturalistic style, and this image — of a character from song of ice and fire — was the best I could find…

Sorry that I’ve been off for a few days; I’m on a trip and the PC I brought to continue my posts has proved unreliable. I’m typing on a handheld now, so my posts may seem a bit…terse…over the next few days.
