Hello, I’m Jotan!

Hello there Gamersplane! I’m Jotan. I love ttrpgs and have been playing for many years, but lately I’ve been finding myself short of time. I’m hoping that playing pbp will let me enjoy ttrpgs again without worrying about my schedule.

I also hope to find new game systems I like. Playing irl has confined me to games that people close to me like, and while I enjoyed most of them I’d also like to branch out!

I’ve played (and deeply love) most Year Zero games, and also some of the World of Darkness games. Aside from that I’ve played mainly DnD (though I’m a bit tired of that) and several horror games. I tried Mork Borg but bounced of pretty hard.

As I mentioned before I’d love to learn new systems. I’ve found I prefer medium to high crunch games, with interesting settings and story potential. Examples of games I’d like to try are Call of Cthulhu and it’s variants, Pendragon, Doomsong and Dolmenwood. I’m not planning on limiting myself to those though, I’m open to trying nearly anything, although I’ve found I don’t really like most ultra rules-lite/osr games.

That’s it for me, I’m looking forward to meeting all of you and finding an interesting game to join!
