We’ve only got six months left of 2026. Does anyone have some games they’re waiting/hoping to drop in the latter half of the year?
https://i.imgur.com/NSLB7RC.jpegShadowdark Western Reaches is half with us in PDF form. A lot of people may have found it a bit repetitive due to the crossover with the zines. The GM’s guide is yet to drop and I really hope they hit my shelf before the year ends!

https://i.imgur.com/egCF05s.jpegThis one ought to start dropping real soon! I’ve been hoping it’s to Superhero RPGs what The Walking Dead is to Zombie games. A good system, even if you rip out all the IP stuff!

I could read the PDF… on my phone!

https://i.imgur.com/maxd5eL.jpegI only just saw this one two weeks ago, so it hasn’t been a long wait. I quite liked the Arkham book, even if I’m not sure how I’d get it to the table. If this is anything similar, it’ll at least make for a fun read.
On the flip side, I’ve given up hope (and interest?) on D6 2E. I joined that project years late, and even that was ages ago. I don’t know that it’ll be relevant by the time it gets dragged over the line!

I've been waiting with baited breath for the second edition of Vaults of Vaarn to be released. Though it's still rules-lite, it has all sorts of procedures you can follow if you want to include them in your games. And boy howdy is this thing packed with weird post-fantasy flavor!

Moorcockian-inspired Dragonbane setting/crawl, with all sorts of chaotic goodness. Mutants and demons and warlords, oh my!

I'm late to the hype-train and I would never consider running it as a PbP, but Draw Steel is a hoot and a half to run live. And now they're releasing a campaign that's cosmic in nature? Yes, please!

Vaults of Vaarn sounds cool. And from what I'm reading, it's got Cowley written all over it.

I'm really not up on RPG industry buzz, but this game popped up on my radar because it's being developed by Posthuman Studios, the makers of Eclipse Phase. EP has great worldbuilding and characters but the rules don't seem like they lend themselves too well to PbP. I'm hoping that this new game (no human or humanoid characters!) is better. Haven't really had a chance to dive into the playtest, but the concept seems cool. No idea if it's going to published this year or next though.
