How do you access Gamers Plane?

Of my fifteen and a half thousand posts, I think only about three were made using a laptop computer at work! I think that qualifies for Phone (Only), right?

I format my posts to look nice on my phone! I’ve often wondered if they look a mess to players on other mediums.

I check the forum on my phone, but I perfere to post through a PC / through a keyboard.

suggestion: I'd switch "only" to "mainly" as I'm guessing a lot of people might access it differently on specific occasions (looking at you holidays), but have a preferred way of access during any other regular day. I know I do 🤣

Desktop at home, phone at work and tablet when away. I do agree that "mainly" fits better than "only", which suggest that you never using other devices.
The setting stuff from that new alien game looks nice. Never thought of putting explainers under pictures in small font, like in the books, before. Another neat thing to file away in "use later" mental cabinet.

I can only get to GP without a VPN 50% of the time, and the VPN I use is inconsistent on PC. So while I do prefer editing posts on my computer, sometimes mobile is just the only option. Anguish, pure anguish.

Same for me. Only use my phone to check posts not to make them.

I mostly check from my desktop or laptop. Even on vacation I have work laptop with me (more than once I've had to do some work while on holiday [mostly cause I get annoyed trying to explain how to do something and find it faster and easier to just log in and do it myself]). I'll sometimes check the site through my phone but I'm old(ish) and I have fat fingers so everything takes 10 times as long on a phone :P

I use my phone pretty much exclusively to read and make posts.

I've been 'Phone Only' since I've been on GP. It's really the only access I have so that's what I use. I'd probably be lost trying to use GP from a desktop/laptop since I wouldn't have access to the images and clipboard formatting shortcuts I normally use. I've joked before that I've trained my phone's autocorrect predictive text function thru constant use to just about be able to post for me.

I'm almost always accessing the site from my desktop. All of my gaming materials are either on it or the bookshelf nearby.

I hate using my phone to access the site. Actually, I don't like using my phone for anything other than texting, calls, and the Stellarium app. The only time I use my phone to access the site is when I lose power, internet service, or I'm on vacation.

Many access points. Home -- prefer my desktop. Work -- limited to tablet. The phone is for the rest of the time (including when traveling), but mostly for catching up rather than heavy posting. Often use the tablet or my laptop (like right now) when I've just feeling quasi-mobile.

I started using this site because I could access it at the computers I sit at at work, so usually I google "gamersplane" and click the "log in" sub-heading result that sits a few entries above a reddit post titled "is there a site like GamersPlane but like, better?". I've never clicked on it but I can only assume the most upvoted comment is someone saying "No."

Mostly use GP through my phone, as it's the most convenient option, and works rather well for the site. I imagine though if I were to ever take the plunge and GM on GP, a computer would be easier.

Yes! Sometimes when the light pollution gets to be too much, I just play around with the app, seeing how far out into the universe it'll let me go.
