Minor bug; Editable fields with text and checkbox indicator

I've noticed that if you have an editable field that includes text as well as something like "3/3", it will render as checkboxes and ignores the text.
Example:

[_=Torches 3/3]

Shows as


Not a major issue. I've worked around it by using "3 of 3" instead.

Is it that you want the text editable as well?

I tend to do it as say:

Ability 1[ _=3/3]
Ability 1

But you could probably do it as:

[ _=] [ _= 3/3]


Whetehr or not its fixable to allow the text and checks in one I'll leave to Keleth!

Oh, no I didn't mean I want to have the checkboxes. I wanted only text.

The thing is, I had an empty field in my character sheet . I filled in "Torches 3/3" and clicked away, it then updated to (had to use an image here).

But when I reopened the character sheet a few minutes later, it rendered as checkboxes. Which confused me.

You can do Torches 3\3, although it does look a bit weird.
Also for a workaround, symbols next to the slash stop it from doing checkboxes: Torches 3/'3, Torches 3 / 3. :D

Is there perhaps an escape character that can be placed somewhere to prevent such interpretation (I was hit by something like this before, but didn't find a proper solution, only workarounds like the above)?

I don't think there is, or at least I've never seen anything like it mentioned.

PS: also I learned about hair space existing, so at least Torches 3  / 3 can look almost correct now. :D

It's working as intended as far as I can tell. The checkboxes were made so that 3 of 3 could be 3 full checkboxes. It's easiest to uncheck a box when needed.

Is there a reason the boxes are causing a problem?

p.s. I will also add this one not at all serious suggestion, though... if you're dealing with fractions, you should be using ⁄ not /. It makes them very pretty.

Not really. Just that the text "Torches" was removed. I didn't want them to be textboxes.
That's a cool one!

There's definitely a use-used for the non-textbox version. Take HP -- 24/24 is far harder to manage than 24 / 24.

As pointed out above, it's easy enough to use spaces, or do this: / .

(And sometimes it's inconsistent about the conversion. Like now!)
