Hello, I am Ditched. I've been playing TTRPGs off and on for a while, though I became a dedicated player in a RuneQuest game a year and a half ago that I'm still apart of today.
I've only played D&D5e (2014) and RuneQuest: Roleplaying in Glorantha, but I have read the rulebooks for many other games like Call of Cthulhu, Delta Green, Basic Roleplaying, Starwars FFG, Cyberpunk RED and the Without Number games (Worlds, Stars, Cities, Ashes).
Right now, my main gaming interests are with Call of Cthulhu or Delta Green. I've never actually played either of them but I enjoyed reading the rulebooks for both and think that the settings for each are neat. I have also never played a PbP game before, though I get the premise and am way more comfortable with typing out what my character does than acting it out in a VC. I've had my fair share of semi-uncomfortable RP moments in my RuneQuest game because I accidentally became the singular character that is driving the main plot of the campaign forward (Lhankor Mhy Draconic Scholar), so having the time to think about what I want to say and double checking it feels way better to me.
