hi all, Im Celestine, I'm a queer, genderfluid, disabled individual. I got into table top through a junior high friend; he had payed a dm for a birthday party. I've played a couple games of dnd but kinda fell off, but i found the world of indie ttrpgs outside of dnd and i kinda fell in love. especially with the 2400 system i love it so so much. but in general i am a big fan of scifi-cyberpunky-mechy-anime type stuff. i like the more trad fantasy stuff to but idk it doesn't capture my attention as much.
Anyway i heard about this site through the reddit pbp, i have pretty bad social anxiety so playing actual inperson/discord call/zoom games is pretty hard for me but i can write like hell! so here i am :)

Hi and welcome! We don't play enough mecha here, possibly because if it's grid-heavy combat, this pbp format can be limiting. But sci fi and cyberpunk see lots of love here. Hope you find some opportunities to play and/or run games!

CelestineOfTheNight, welcome to GP! We need more mecha games! I've not seen the 24XX game you're about to run, but I love Mecha Hack, Aether Nexus, Salvage Union and a whooooole bunch more...

The thing i love about 24XX Is that the "game" is mainly just setting, the core systems dont usually change, dont like the setting meterial but like the new system introduced? Rework it slightly It won't take much and jam it together with some other systems single page of mechanics, its great! I think you could probably build out at least a kinda crunchy game if you mixed enough hacks together

Yeah, I have a ton of the 24XX games... but have not seen the mecha one. Will look for it!
