Living Leviathans
A mecha game
Goliath is a Mecha 24XX hack that is "Inspired by Neon Genesis Evangelion, Pacific Rim, and the Xeno series."

id also recommend checking out the emergency rules located at the bottom of this itch.io page under the demo section. it expands the concepts a little further if you haven't played this system before.
This is my first PBP game although i have written and GMed in the past a bit, as well as done some one on one fandom rp when i was younger.
What to expect
I do plan on having some darker themes, expect a healthy dose of violence, politics, mental health, and death in relative detail.
I WILL NOT have any sexual violence in the game, nor will possible characters under the age of 16 get more then a few bumps and bruises.

"Welcome to the WAAL, some of you might remember the last war, some of you might have trained for this. I promise you it won't be enough. You will fight monsters beyond your imaginations. Monsters that break your minds. These things break the laws of physics as we know it. Will you kill a Leviathan. Will you bring them back down to reality. You'll find out if you can sooner or later. Good luck Recruits"
Characters
really just follow the basic character creation steps of the hack. It's about a page and a half worth of material. The only requirements for your character is that your a mech pilot and you're being drafted/signed up to fight kaiju. Also note combat for the most part is roleplay here. a whole battle can technically be over in a single dice roll if that's the pace required. Be prepared for that (Not having a battle be over in a single roll, maybe two from each player minimum)

Post Frequency/time expectations
I'd like for each player to post roughly once or twice a day minimum, but i get life comes first, I don't really have a reference point for how long this will take but one job would roughly take 2-4 sessions irl so if you are more experienced you probably have a better idea, after each job ill check in see the motivation to keep going but think about 3 jobs/quests/angels in evangelion + some downtime in-between at least

Leave a comment or PM me about your character, maybe a bit about your writing style, and anything else you wish to include. Try and have your characters in by FEB 15 (with some leeway), I will choose whatever characters i find most compelling after, and will contact you by the end of the month at the very latest
