IC: Kids on Brooms

I am planning to run a Kids on Brooms game.
No knowledge of the rules is required. Everyone is welcome.

System
Kids on Brooms is a very easy system that puts story first. It is easy to learn and not very tactical combat wise (it is not D&D). Kids on Brooms is the magic school version of Kids on Bikes.

What is it?
Think an TTRPG setting that is very based on the magic school trope with Harry Potter as the main inspiration. KoB encourages collaborative worldbuilding. We will build the world and school together. From there on, we will build a story together.
The setting is inspired on Harry Potter but not in the Harry Potter world.
The adventure will depend on the world we create together.

Vibe and content
The story would contain magic school weirdness and a level of scary comparable to a Harry Potter movie.
As the PCs are kids (think middle school ages) going on magic adventures, I can't guarantee no harm will come to kids. Other lines and veils will be discussed in an OOC thread.

AI use
AI is a useful tool to support RPG but not to take it over. I think text posts should never be AI generated, for writing is the fun of PBP. However, I am very open to the use of AI generated images and can certainly use them.

Opening and posting
If there is enough interest, I open a game in the early days of January (2-4th). I am looking for 4-5 players and plan for a daily posting rate, I will be posting in EU evenings.

If this would be a good place for a newbie who might need correction / redirecting I'd love to join. Am new to pbp but not ttrpg and have skimmed this rulebook once before and put it in my queue of games-to-play. Totally understandable if you'd rather stick with experienced players.
