✅ What if Stargate Command operated a permanent off-world base, an Alpha-Site–style hub for exploration, diplomacy, and survival—using a Without Number system built for episodic SG-1 play?

✅ Adult Content or Controversial Themes: The game will be going for a PG-13 rating, so as to fit with the Stargate TV theme

✅ Character Restrictions: In addition to the Human (Tau'ri), players can select from Aturen (a new race specifically for this edition), Other Humans (Abydonian or Tollan specifically but could work others out), Jaffa (with Symbiote) or Free Jaffa (no Symbiote and using Tretonin), Tok'ra (typical and Pangaran), and Unas

At the moment, this is simply an interest check to see if there might be 4-6 folks who would be interested in this sort of game. :) I'll be using existing episodes from Wyvern's ruleset as well as developing our own.

I loved Stargate and would be interested

I'm curious and have been considering returning to the TV series for a while now.

Consider me curious. However, I only watched very few episodes beyond the original film (and it was a long, long time a go), so I may not have a sufficiently clear idea what the campaign is supposed to be like in terms of content.

Oh I'm definitely interested in a Stargate themed game.

If any of you are streamers, PlutoTV (it's FREE) has a Stargate channel where you can see all of the episodes of SG-1 24/7.

You should be fine. Overall, the theme is something along the lines of "Group from Earth goes through an alien gateway and explores while facing potential hostile aliens" if that makes sense. :)
These should give you a taste of SWN and WWN. :) I'll have some supplementary Stargate-Specific adjustments to character creation and gear, but this should get you started:

At the moment, I'm not including Mage as an available class for either full or partial class. Maybe later on, there might be a species with "Mage-like" abilities but not at the moment.

I have an inkling of a concept - the lo'taur (high ranking personal servant/future host) who helps the SG team escape or overthrow their goa'uld master. Probably something like Expert class + Courtesan profession.

Are we already engaging in character creation homebrewing brainstorming? If so, I am interested in nonhuman options, though I do not have solidified concepts at this stage.
