I'm on furlough for who knows how long, so I've got time on my hands. Seems like a good time to start a game. It's October, so how about a horror game?

Seeking players for a Mothership 1e game.
This will be my first time running Mothership, so set your expectations accordingly. I'll be running a modified version of Screaming on the Alexis part of the Dead Planet module. If we're still having fun after that, we can proceed to other parts of the module.
Post frequency: 1-ish posts/day (shooting for 5 posts/week minimum)
Number of players: 4
Character restriction: Only 1 android will be allowed in the group
Content Warning: It's a horror game that doesn't really hold back. Baseline for this adventure is gore and body horror, with cannibalism waiting in the wings if we get into the rest of the module.
Gameplay Warning: Horror is as horror does - character death is quite possible (but replacement PCs will be available). In addition, while you know you are in a horror game, your characters do not. The game works best when everyone roleplays accordingly.
How to apply: Respond in this thread saying you'd like to play.
Player selection: I'll keep this ad open until Sunday evening. If I have more than four applicants at that point, I'll randomly select four to play.

The pitch:
Some kind of anomaly yanked your ship out of hyperspace, damaging your jump drive in the process. Now you find yourselves in an uncharted planetary system, orbiting a strange planet with a tidelocked moon. A vast graveyard of derelict craft float silently in orbit. The derelicts show no signs of life, except one. Operating at low but steady power levels, the ship emits an automated distress signal every 45 minutes, identifying itself as the Alexis. Your captain has decided you should investigate the ship in hopes of finding either survivors with useful information or parts to repair your jump drive.
The captain, of course, will be staying aboard ship. Boarding abandoned ships is your job -- a job you suddenly feel doesn't pay nearly enough for this s&%t.
