Hey everyone!
I'm a 32-year-old from Brazil.
Maybe this is a common story around here, but nowadays, with hectic daily routines where it barely feels like I have enough time to do the things I need to do, I have much less so for the things I want to do, so fitting in a regular, many-hours-long session with a group for playing RPGs is impossible. And that's just talking about me, getting everyone else's routine to line up is even harder.
But then I catch myself going through my RPG books, and they still inspire me. I love the worlds, the art, the stats and the multitude of characters I'd like to create or stories I'd like to tell. I play CRPGs sometimes, and I keep thinking about the infinite possibilities of the tabletop experience. I knew about PbP, but in my mind it was an old way of playing, dawn of the internet kind of thing, but I decided to look into it and I was pleased to find that it's still going strong.
So yeah, here I am to give it a shot. I think I'll start by reading some adventures to get a feeling of how it goes, and then try to play a short adventure so I'm not committing to a long-term project before I'm ready to call it my new way to engage with the hobby.
Nice to meet you all =)
