(Lack of) e-mail notification on subforum creation

Greetings, all!

I'm occasionally having this kind of situation:

- I join a game.
- I subscribe to the game forum.
- GM creates a new subforum in it.
- GM makes new threads in the subforum.
- I remain ignorant of the fact that there are new fora, and new threads/posts in them, under the hierarchy of the forum I subscribed to.

I think a creation of a subforum in a subscribed forum is an event that is at least as important as posts/threads, and should come with an e-mail notification (if those are enabled on the subscription). I was asked to bring up this idea to the others on the forum. What do others think?

I agree.

I've discovered that even as a GM, when I create a new forum or sub-forum, even I have to subscribe to the thread. It isn't automatic.

Hm, we can definitely reevaluate how subscriptions work.
