Star Wars Borg
The Game: I’ve been hankering to run some Sci-Fi lately! Being a fan of deadlier, slimmer rule sets, Star Borg won out! I’m looking for a handful of brave rebels who are ready and willing to strike back against the Empire Legion and its lackeys!
The Mission: The Rebellion has intercepted an urgent transmission sent from an Imperial base! Lead Imperial scientist, Ado Thorsh, requires immediate evacuation!
This is the perfect chance for a plucky band of rebels to swoop in and grab a valuable Imperial agent before back up arrives!
The Setting: So, Star Borg is obviously Star Wars with the names changed around. We’ll play it pretty much in the Star Wars universe, while keeping things loose enough that we don’t feel bound too tightly by canon! (Which I am not at all familiar with!)
A group of Magi Knights during Imperial rule? No problem! We’ll make it work!
The Characters: Character creation is easy, and can be rolled up in just a few minutes! Anyone familiar with the Borg games knows what to expect! Star Borg operates on a ‘roll or choose’ philosophy, which should satisfy everyone!
The Tone: Similar to the setting, we’ll keep it pretty Star Wars. We are heroes, we are rebels, we are smugglers! Language will be Star Wars appropriate! It is also a Borg game, so expect things to be deadly! Think Darth Vader showing up in that tunnel and wreaking havoc.
The Players: I think four rebel scum fighters would be a nice size for this game! I could take more if interest is high, but I really want this game to move along at a nice pace and four seems to be the magic number!
