Marching Order

Jacky would like to stick near the back, as his main weapon is a bow.

I’ll offer Grim to be near the front, if not very front. He’s got 9 hp, and does pretty well in dungeons.

Thrud will generally be at or near the front of the group, but with his lowly 5 hp he has no problem letting Zacharias or Grim enter rooms first.

Ella will hang to the back, indeed, but if we were going single file, she’d be more in the middle than at the end.

Are we talking generally or are we talking as right now checking out the tower door? B/c in the latter case, Griomdek is looking for traps now.

The ones matmaisan provided I took to be intended for general marching orders. The one you gave for the immediate situation looks good to me too.

OK. Squares are usually 5'x5'. Also, Billie, being large, takes up 10x10, so I am going to change the order a bit for accuracy. Please comment/correct!

General Marching Order
Three abreast takes up 15x20 counting Billie; 2 abreast will take up 10x25, and single file will be 5x35' until Billie who takes up 10x10.

Pictures look good and I think I prefer them more. Also, two abreast looks to be a very decent marching order.

I like Avraham’s proposals. I proposed a 10ft-wide, 3 PCs abreast marching order because that was what AD&D allowed. But 2 abreast is fine with me too

Up The Cliff:
The colored lines represent ropes. All PCs are roped together using the black rope; Billie is not attached to this rope. Rather, Billie is roped to Zach, Jacky, and Thrud using the blue rope.

As an archer I think it would make sense to be on the second rank or in the middle of a single line.

Vasco was on the 5th line? If so, that sounds fine with me. And I agree with Matmaisan. Didn't get home till late last night so no time to draw Pic. Will try to get on it asap
