I'll skip roleplaying a trip the the blacksmith if that's ok, but I did have a question about the armor; Wess currently has scale shirt and leggingd, giving him +3. If I use Nualia's breastplate do I just add +1 to my toughness? Do I need to make a note that it's magical? Would at attack aimed at me legs only have +3?

Tsuto was Ameiko's brother who kidnapped her and you killed him in the glassworks.

Breastplate is +4 by default, with Aegis adding an additional +1 for +5 total armor. Typically only covers the torso, unless Nualia had a whole set with arms, legs, and head included. Or Furmyr just handwaves it. Or the AP has it different.

Technically is min str d10, but as it's magical should reduce it to d8, and as youre a dwarf, one step lower to d6.

It is just the torso for that one. The only armor that specified leggings and such I think was the fighter on the second level.

The system don't have hit location roll for each attack, so I assume that any normal attack will be against the torso. You could technically aim for head, legs or arms to reduce the Toughness you have to overcome (in addtion to getting bonus damage it could be a good tactic, especially against low parry/high toughness foes).
