If you are unable to post in a timeous manner: Please drop a note here so we know not to wait for you.

If possible and appropriate, indicate how you would prefer for your character to be elided from the action: Are they just being quiet in the background? Are they busy with something else? Given how time passes in PbP, it may well be simple to just skip you for a while.

Just a quick heads-up. I’ll be traveling from August 10th through the 25th, and I won’t have my laptop with me during that time. I’ll try to check in and post when I can, but my availability and post quality might suffer a bit (...or more than a bit :( )

I'm not sure how frequently one must post to count as timeous, but I shouldn't ever miss more than two or three days due to work or life stuff, with one exception. On September 29th, I will be having gender-affirming surgery (i.e., "bottom" surgery). I'm flying to San Francisco for it. The recovery can vary widely from person to person; I might be posting again in a day or two, or it might be months--I just won't know until then. If I'm being honest, it's a bit frightening! But hopefully it won't cause much disruption. Just FYI.

No worries. We will probably try to keep Emma separate till then, or separate her again, that way your pace does not impact anyone else.
