This is my first post on here. I have some experience with Play by Post and roleplaying as I've been part of two games over on Myth Weavers since early summer of this year, but both of those games are on hold at the moment. Because of that, and since the systems I'm interested in are pretty niche, I decided to branch out to some other websites, so here I am.

As I said, I have some experience with roleplaying and play by post, but still lots of room to improve, especially when it comes to roleplaying. I'm completely new to TinyD6 and the site, so a game to learn the ropes of those sounds great.

If there still remains space, I would be keen to join! I'm new to here as a place but I've a long history with @tibbius who can vouch for me I'm sure

Thanx for the invitation but I'm unsure with no knowledge of TinyD6 that I would be a good fit.

The system is very rules lite and all rolls are done using 1d6,2d6, or 3d6. If you want to look I put a short intro on the system from the creators public content in my game, HERE. However most people who join the game have never heard of the system before and most pick it up quick enough.

I have also had several story driven PC go through the game. The player focuses more on the story and just let me handle the system when necessary. It is all up to what you are comfortable with and I have an open policy so you can leave at any time. All I ask is a heads up. Let me know or just apply to the game.

Hey! I'm a veteran here, but I've never played Tiny D6. I'd like to attend your intro for a few weeks, learn the basics, and maybe be able to help you (or Daryen) in the future.

The game shows as full, so, at least in the mobile version, I cannot apply. Looking forward for an invitation.

I would also like to sign up, at your leisure, to get a feel for how you run an intro game so I can design one with a different setting and/or ruleset. No rush, whenever you get a chance.

@Blackdragon0 : There is a reference sheet you can download that goes over the basic mechanics. I have most of this in my game as well an slow a bit of flexibility on dune mechanics not in the free content. Specifically traits.

This game is for those that are new to role playing, play by post, gamersplane, or TinyD6. It`s purpose is to help these people get familiar with these topics and how to use this site for these activities.

People looking for a short term game to become familiar with Role Playing Games (RPG), Play by Post (PbP), or Gamersplane can join in for a single scene mini story arc with help on getting familiar with how things work. This is a public game so anyone can read the post and it is open for applications for any to join. The game uses Tinyd6, a rules light system with rules that are simple, easy to learn, and quick to master. (Cheat Sheet PDF)

The game is intended for character to experience a short story arc and introduce you to some of the site and TinyD6 mechanics. Post as much or as little as you like. If you want a single scene to just go over site, PbP, or TinyD6 mechanics quickly just let me know.

I try to allow some flexibility in the type of setting used in the game, with Tiny Dungeons being the most common. The system has options to support other settings including space scifi, and heroic contemporary. Just let me know what you are looking for. After deciding on a setting players will build your character, with my help as needed, to match.

If multiple players join at around the same time they are free to play solo or in small groups, typically no larger than 4. In the game players will direct their character and gain experience with role playing, Play by Post, the TinyD6 system, and how to use this site effectively to have fun. Along the way overcome challenges through creative problem solving, rolling a few dice, or overcoming opposition though combat or negotiations.

Note : The posting rate is not fixed and can be faster, going up to 1+ posts/day or as slow as 1/week

The Tinyd6 system only uses 6 sided dice(d6) for rolls of skill and chance. Characters are defined by their heritage (race and origin), background/trade, and a three traits they excel at. That is pretty much it!
